Amazing fresh made daily sushi, musubi, kimcji, onigiri and a huge selection of drinks, sake, beers, teas, calico soft drinks. Endless Japanese snacks, mochi, chips, cookies as well ad fresh fruit and produce. The downside---super crowded and sometimes some questionable customer service. The sushi place is separate from the market place itself and is overpriced compared to Nijiya Market. It's still super flavorful and very fresh. I'll occasionally slurge and buy myself a ton of sushi and cbd kombucha!! Has validation parking lot structure attached and benches to eat at outside the market too!

Little Tokyo Market Place is a gem! The selection of fresh produce, unique snacks, and authentic Japanese ingredients is impressive. The store is clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what you need. The staff is always friendly and willing to help with any questions. It's my go-to spot for all things Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Pretty good pickings for a market on the outskirts of DTLA. It's a Korean supermarket with a hot food section, fresh seafood section, sushi stall, Asian bakery, and little restaurant that serves a mix of Japanese and Korean fare. It's no HMart but definitely is up there as far as offerings go. I like how much organic products they have here. I like that I can buy Natto, Thayer's toner, tteokboki, and mochi products from Fugetsu-Do in one place. Personally not a fan of their marinated meats. They have good sales listed every week. I got a 4-pack of Korean canned tuna for 8 bucks so that was nice.

I really really like this market place. I think they have a pretty decent selection of Korean goods that I can't find anywhere else and I like that their parking garage is 1 hour free and the market place will validate if you pay more than 30$ on a trip, which I almost always do. One of the main reasons I love coming here is because they have a ready-made Ganjang-Gejang that I absolutely go bananas for. I'd love to eat it at an actual restaurant but, for almost 1 pound of soy marinated crabs at only 9.99 I feel like the price can't be beat and I always get the 2$ steamed white rice and it's a perfect lunch. They also have a wide selection of ready made Korean food, they also have a small poke restaurant inside, a nice sushi selection and a ton of smaller restaurants in the back. I'm never around that spot so, I don't know if they're still there. Also, the kombucha selection is ridiculous. I've gotten so many interesting things. Granted, the supermarket smells fishy from time to time and it can get super crowded, I still love this marketplace and will sometimes choose it over H-Mart or Zion in Koreatown
